About this course

The first aid knowledge every therapist needs: how to assess a casualty, keep them safe, and act correctly in the emergencies most likely to arise in a beauty or aesthetics setting, including allergic reaction and anaphylaxis, fainting, burns and bleeding.

• The primary survey and how to assess a casualty
• Anaphylaxis, allergic reaction and adrenaline auto-injectors
• Fainting, seizures and recovery positions
• Burns, bleeding and chemical injuries
